Karaoke in Idaho Falls 2009

While in Idaho for Scott's wedding we were able to break away for a night and KARAOKE! It was great. We went with my brother Eric and his friends and our good friends Cari & Ryan. We sang, we laughed, we cried, we got emphysema from all of the cigarette smoke (Idaho is a little behind in their anti-smoking laws). Idahoans take karaoke very seriously. It was a night to remember!

Easter ~ April 2009

My brother Scott got married Easter weekend in Idaho, so we celebrated Easter Monday in Oregon. Mila, Ivan and Sydney had a great time decorating eggs and searching for them. Happy Easter!

Ivan The Babysitter

The kids were being really quiet...not good. So I went down the hall to check it out and found Ivan standing there. He was fully equipped with diaper bag and Baby Born in the front carrier. When I asked him what was going on he said "just babysitting again". Mila was "gone running errands" and I guess this is a common occurence for Uncle Ivan. It's tough being a little brother.

Unfortunately these pictures don't show all of the details of our "new" house. Keep in mind we haven't painted yet, but in person this is a totally different house. We have a new garage door & front door. We also put in new windows. The 2 front living room windows we turned into 1 big picture window. It is really a huge improvement. We also replaced all of the siding. It should look really great once we pick a color and paint it. We also hope to replace the roof sometime soon.

Thomas the Tank Engine LIVE! ~ Feb. 18th

The kids had a great time seeing Thomas the train. We rode the MAX, ate pizza and enjoyed the show.

December 20, 2008 ~ Ivan's New Bed

Ivan finally noticed that his bed was different. He said "Mommy, when I am four can I have a big boy bed?" With his birthday being only a week away we decided to set it up now. He is really excited to officially be a big boy:)
