Playing EXTREME hill running.
The dunes are steep! Every day the kids wanted to come and play extreme hill running.
Ivan was keeping warm while wearing the scarf I knitted!!! My first knitting project:)
The kids loved to squish the sea anemones!

Jo's condo is right on the beach so we could sit inside and knit while the kids played on the dunes.
I had to take a picture of the boys working together to get the beach toys over to the play area.

Our family tradition is to go to Bruce's Candy Kitchen and get wax pop bottles. Yummy!!!

We had the best spring break at Cannon Beach with the Riggs family. They generously invited us to spend the week with them at their condo. Unfortunately the husbands couldn't join us but we made the best of it:) I think the kids would have spent all day every day in the pool but luckily the weather worked with us. We had many sunny moments and were able to ride scooters into town to hit the knitting shop and the Candy Kitchen. We were also able to spend a lot of time in the sand, running up and down the dunes and playing outdoors. Jo showed me the glory of the Vitamix blender and helped me finish knitting Ivan's scarf. We relaxed a little and had a lot of fun!
