Mila has wanted this book FOREVER. She wants to learn how to be a spy...

This was taken at 8:53 am. She is officially 7!

They finished off the night with The Wizard of OZ, popcorn and hot chocolate.

Mila had her friend party today. We went to see Princess and the Frog, played with new toys, partied at Out of This World, and ended the night with a slumber party. I think they fell a sleep around midnight!

Ivan's 5th Birthday ~ December 2009

Finally remembered to use the pinata I got for his 3rd birthday!!!

Ivan had more of a birthWEEK than a birthDAY. His actual birthday was spent getting off of the cruise ship, getting on a couple airplanes, and getting to his bed around midnight. So we did some celebrating on the ship (which I will post later) and we had a family party and a friend party. Here are some pictures from his friend party.

Snow Day ~ December 2009

We had fun with a very random snow storm. I think it's the first one this winter. The kids built a small snowman with their best buddies and a couple hours later built a BIG one with the neighbors.

We had a great time at the circus. It was really fun. The kids really got into it and loved the

animals, clowns and other performers. We had great seats and a great night.

Soccer ~ September 2009

Thanking team for a good game. At this level they don't track scores. Everyone is a winner!

Mila has started her first season of soccer. We are more of a softball & basketball family but we thought we would give it a shot. She is on the team with her best "sister" Tianna so they have fun goofing off together. It works since their team name is the "Goofy's".

Ivan's First Day of Preschool ~ September 2009

Ivan was very excited for his first day of preschool. He made sure we didn't forget his rock and roll shirt, rock and roll backpack and his rock and roll hair. Gotta love boys!

Haircuts! ~ August 2009

Mila cut several inches off her hair and went back to her "bob" cut. She is very excited to start 1st grade and wanted a new look:) Ivan also wanted a new look for preschool so we kept the sides short but spiked the front. He thought it was pretty cool. They turned out great!

The Easy Bake Oven ~ August 2009

I don't know what to say about the Easy Bake Oven? Mila really likes it so that is good enough for me. We have some trouble getting it out of the oven because of how high it rises, but with a little frosting it looks great!

Ivan and Brian took a special trip over to the Ape Caves. They had a great time spelunking and exploring.
