4th of July ~ 2010

We enjoyed another wonderful 4th of July barbecue at the Janeck's and then watched an amazing fireworks show at Oak Hills. I am still trying to get some marshmallow off of Ivan:)

4th of July Parade 2010

Mila's Girl Scout Troop was able to participate in our towns annual 4th of July parade. It was a lot of waiting and then a lot of walking but they did a great job. The hardest part was trying to get them to not throw all of their candy in the first 5 minutes! Brian wasn't able to pick up Ivan so lucky for me he was able to ride in a wagon and join us in the parade (and yes, he is wearing a Mexican t-shirt)

Thank you to Tianna for encouraging Mila to try riding her bike without training wheels. I tried helping Mila balance but I was making her tip over so she stopped me and said she could do it herself. Then she just rode away. It was great. She was even able to fix her strap as she was riding. What a pro. She kept saying "I'm a natural!" as she rode by. We are so proud:)

It took FOREVER for the movie to start!

Mila made it through the entire movie. She did a great job.

The movie was better than I expected:) It was a really fun night.
