Ivan the GENIUS!!

Ivan has been drawing pictures for a little while now but lately he loves to write the alphabet and his name. It is soooo cute!!!! What a smart boy:)

October 11, 2008 ~ Family fun at the pumpkin patch!

We had a great 3 hours at the pumpkin patch. Mila and Ivan always love riding the barrel ride behind the tractor. We enjoyed the petting zoo, rode the train, the boat, and had a great race through the 12 acre corn maze. It was really a family event: Nonni, Pappa, Jen, Brian, Mila, Ivan, Uncle Eric, JB, and Solly all joined in on the FUN. We can't wait to do it again next year:)

Build A Bear Workshop ~ September 9th

Nonni and Papa took the kids to the mall and let them pick out and build their own stuffed animals. They pick them out, fill them with fluff and a heart, groom them and then pick out their clothes. They had such a fun time! They love Pink Cuddles & Dino:)

Camping at Lost Lake ~ September 6th

We took advantage of the weather and took the kids camping up at Lost Lake. We had fun roasting marshmallows and sleeping in the tent... Well the kids had fun. We searched the lake for newts but unfortunately they had all disappeared. We had fun anyway walking the trail around the lake, picking & eating all the huckleberries we could find and taking a picture with big foot. Good times!

Mila's First Day of School ~ September 4th

Mila was very excited for school to start. Everyday of summer she asked "how many days left until school starts?". So when the big day came she was very excited but very nervous. She had a slight breakdown when we got there but by the time I picked her up she said she had the best day of her life:) That was good to hear because I worried the entire time that she was miserable. On the second day she was able to ride the bus for the first time. She sat next to one of her new friends and has wanted to ride everyday since. She loves school and loves her new friends.
