Southern California Adventure ~ Disneyland ~ October 2010

Ivan crashed around 11pm. He slept through Peter Pan and Nemo Submarine. He probably would have slept through Space Mountain too!

The kids partied from 9 -midnight! It was wild. We were able to go on Splash Mountain 3 times in a row without getting off. We loved Haunted Mansion and It's a Small World. The crowd wasn't too bad until the afternoon. We hit almost every ride and some of them several times. Thunder Mountain Railroad was one of Ivan's very favorite. We also watched Captain EO which I hadn't seen since 8th grade! It was totally 80's RAD!!! I still recommend going in January or February.

Southern California Adventure ~ Disneyland *HAUNTED MANSION* ~ October 2010

Everyone who knows our family will know that we LOVE Tim Burton! WE LOVE HIS WORK! This was the first time that we were able to go to Disneyland when the Haunted Mansion was decorated like the Nightmare Before Christmas. They went above and beyond! It was so fun to see our favorite characters at our favorite park. Good job Disneyland. Thank you for doing your job well.

Southern California Adventure ~ LEGOLAND ~ October 2010

Don't let the pictures fool you. The park was way over priced and the rides are 30 seconds long. It is not worth the drive or the price. The kids were done after a couple hours. We also stayed late to do the Brick or Treat trail and that was a joke. After waiting in line for about an hour, all dressed up in costume, they went to a few houses and received a cliff bar, an apple and a coupon for Chipotle that can only be used in San Diego. They did throw in 1 random duplo type brick that says trick or treat but it doesn't match any other bricks we have so we can't use it. LEGOLAND IS LAME!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe that my first and my last are now in school. Time is a thief. Sometimes I wish I could just rewind and pause!

We had pretty good seats right next to the runway. The jets are LOUD! Cody came prepared:)

We had a great time with our good friends the Titels and the Carmens. Although we forgot to take out the camera, we had a great time barbecuing, peach picking, going out to eat and playing games. Good friends, good food and good memories!

Mila lost her first tooth! ~ August 17, 2010

Mila finally lost her first tooth! She has been waiting since Kindergarten and was afraid that she would be the only 2nd grader who hadn't lost a tooth yet. Now she is the happiest girl in the world:)
